2025 Company Complimentary Ticket Policy and Procedure
Thank you in advance for your understanding regarding these policies. When these policies are disregarded, there are revenue and safety implications. Thank you for your cooperation.
Mainstage Complimentary Tickets
All company members may receive two complimentary tickets to one performance of each: Tosca, Sunday in the Park with George, The House on Mango Street, The Rake’s Progress and Odyssey.
Complimentary tickets are available in the Front Orchestra, Rear Orchestra, Front Boxes or Rear Balcony seating sections. You may upgrade complimentary ticket seating, when available, at a premium. Price Level II: Orchestra/Balcony $20 each. Price Level I: Festival Circle/Upper Festival Circle $30 each. You may purchase additional tickets for any mainstage opera/musical theater performance with availability at a 25% discount. Please note that you may not use this 25% discount on a seating upgrade.
Complimentary ticket availability is not guaranteed for any performance.
You may submit orders up to 48 hours before the desired performance via the 2025 Complimentary Ticket Request Form.
If you cannot use your requested complimentary tickets, you must alert the Box Office at least 24 hours prior to the performance so the tickets may be released and/or exchanged. If you fail to notify the Box Office 24 hours in advance, and your complimentary tickets go unused for a performance, you will be invoiced for 20% of the cost of your ticket as it would be regularly priced. The Box Office is made aware of your attendance when your ticket is scanned at the front of the theater, so please be sure to have your ticket scanned correctly when you attend the show. Otherwise, you will receive the invoice for 20% of the cost of your ticket as stated above.
Complimentary tickets become available starting Monday, February 10.
Staff Rush Policy
Staff rush tickets are available at many performances; staff rush tickets are always subject to availability and available only at the discretion of Box Office. If staff rush tickets are available for a performance, you use your badge to sign up at the Ticket Kiosk for ONE staff rush ticket, starting 90 minutes prior to the performance time. First-come, first-served. Staff rush tickets are given out five minutes prior to the performance; you need your badge to pick up staff rush tickets (sorry, no exceptions). Staff rush tickets are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Only company members may use staff rush tickets. Violators of this policy will be excluded from staff rush privileges and will be invoiced for the full cost of the ticket as it would be regularly priced. No seating requests will be honored except special seating.
Work Bench Policy
If there are any company members who need to be in the theater for any mainstage show or event for work purposes, a work bench ticket must be requested at least 2 hours in advance of the performance. The passes are distributed prior to the show at the Box Office Kiosk. You need your badge to pick up bench passes (sorry, no exceptions). The Box Office uses the list of advance requests when distributing these.
If you are found disregarding these policies, you will be liable to pay for the seat you occupied -- bench or otherwise. All staff and artists must have a ticket or pre-approved work bench pass to enter the theater.
